Andrew Davis
My name is Andrew and I'm a final year dual-degree student at UBC. I am pursuing my BSc in biochemistry and my masters in business management through Sauder. At the end of my third year I participated in UBC's co-op program where I worked in the biotech industry and then healthcare focused investment banking. I am conducting my thesis within the Rossi laboratory under the supervision of Mark and Laura. My research aims to provide a better understanding of the spatial cellular dynamics of skeletal muscle following volumetric muscle loss. More specifically, I am using CODEX to better understand the cells and protein markers that play a role in skeletal muscle regeneration. When I'm not in the lab or studying, you can catch me hitting the gym, going for runs on UBC's beautiful campus, or grabbing a beer at the Gal.
