Ryan was first introduced to Rossi lab in high school and has continued ever since. Under Farshad, he is researching inflammation and muscle regeneration fibrosis. With the complex mechanisms involved with tissue regeneration, by using muscle as a model, we can use it to understand the exact target cells of interferon-gamma (macrophages, satellite cells or FAPs) as well as its function on these cell types.
In his spare time, he enjoy’s playing multiple instruments, a variety of sports, photography and is an unhealthy cinephile.
