Sukrit Kapoor

I completed my undergraduate degree in the bachelor’s of Applied Science, specialized in Biomedical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. I was born in India, but raised in Indonesia my whole life. Moving to Canada was the biggest and hardest decision of my life but now consider Canada my second home. I am involved with the transplantation of iPSC derived myogenic progenitors to enhance muscular regeneration and repair in a volumetric muscle model. As a research assistant, I learnt the fundamentals of laboratory practices, image capturing and analysis procedures and I constantly seek to expand my  skillset to become a better scientist. I want to continue my journey in the cellular therapeutic industry in the hopes to one day start my own biotech company.
