We believe that to raise a scientist you need a village of scientists. We also believe that giving an opportunity to High School students to shadow scientists in the lab will help them to have a better prospective for their future endeavours, ambitions and dreams. Scientists in the Rossi's lab have been committing every year for several years now to help this working experience for High School Students going. Our community commitment is very important to us! This year we would like to Thank Dr. Marine Theret for her commitment in teaching Min Jung, Grade 11 student from Crofton High School during Spring Break.

Registration and abstract submission are now open for the May 10th BC Regenerative Medicine Research Symposium at www.bcregmed.ca.
 

• Relevant for scientists, trainees, industry and NGO representatives involved in the area of regenerative medicine in BC. 
• Free registration, networking reception, presentation opportunities and poster/talk prizes.

 
We are working hard to finalize our exciting agenda. Confirmed speakers include Peter Zandstra (University of Toronto), Bruce Verchere (BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute), Allen Eaves (STEMCELL Technologies), Fabio Rossi (University of British Columbia), and Sam Wadsworth (Aspect Biosystems)
